What if the river floods?
Flooding of the river, or very high stream speeds, is very rare in the summer but can happen. If the river floods and the stream increases it is not safe and we will have to abandon the trip until it slows, or abandon the trip altogether. We normally receive several days warning of a flood or increasing stream.
If we have to cancel a trip because of flooding before the trip is due to start we will attempt to place you on a later trip if this suits you. If the river becomes unsafe for rowing during the trip we will move you between your accommodations with the backup vehicle and take successive walking tours of the route.
Please see the Row England Limited terms and conditions for information about our cancellation policy.
